A public-data reanalysis testing whether age-associated expression signals in human skeletal muscle persist across platforms and can be localized to specific cell types.
The analysis narrowed the evidence to an exploratory fibroblast–GPCPD1 association. External data were directionally consistent but not statistically significant, so this is not an independently replicated mechanism, biomarker or therapeutic target.
